September

Labor Day takes us to Amana, IA.  It was a great weekend with friends and also
some nice wins.

Copper hits the win column with a 4-point major on Sunday.  Bosco goes
Reserve on Sunday & Monday.  He also wins Best Puppy on Sunday, goes on a
to a Sporting Group 1 and looked great in Best Puppy in Show!  Boca does will
earning a RA rally leg.  Star goes BOS 2 days and BOB 2 days earning Grand
Champion majors.

On September 11, as we remembers the fallen ones, Ema earns her CGC
Certificate and momma Star becomes a Certified Therapy Dog.  I am so proud
of my girls!  Boca also earns another RA leg.

August

We are  pleased to congratulate Sonja on earning her RN (rally novice) and CD
(companion dog) titles.  Both of these were earned at 18 months.  What a
wonderful leaner Sonja is becoming.

As the Twin Cities Vizsla Club celebrates it's 30th Anniversary as a Club,
Cruiser's competed in the Specialty and all weekend long.  Sonja made a great
showing all weekend.  Karma went Reserve on Sunday. Star won the Brood
Bitch class and everyone made us proud all weekend.

July

All of our wonderful puppies from both Holly & Star's litter have been placed in
their new homes.    We are consistently given loving, wonderful homes for our
precious cargo!

June

Not to be outdone by the boys, Boca earns her CGC Certificate on Monday the
14th.  Way to go Boca!

What a great start to June...in CO Congratulations to New Champion Zeke, CH
Diamond Cruiser's Mile High Flyer JH.  At just 10 months old, Zeke was BOW on
Saturday for his 3rd Major and Sunday went WD/BOW/BOB from the classes
for his 4th major and Championship.

Also on Sunday the 13th, Jaxon and I went WD/BOW/BOB for another point here
in MN.  He showed beautifully for me in group.

Just a little ways to the east, Bosco earns his first 2 points going WD/BOW in
IL.  He and Frank are a wonderful team.

Nice job Boys, Handlers and Families!

We anxiously await what the month brings!

May

May came to a happy close with Star whelping 8 puppies on May 30.  4 Boys
and 4 girls.

We ended May in St. Peter for the TCVC Specialty and Key City all-breed
shows.  Our young and beautiful Karma came for a visit from Denver with her
owners Jenny & Marc and we loved welcoming them to the family.  Also there
were Boca & Bosco and Brew celebrating his 1st birthday with us.

The Specialty could not have ended any better.  We are pleased to announce
our newest Champion, CH Coffee-Martin's Heat Is On JH, aka Chai, a
Holly/Stretch son.  Chai was Winner's Dog to finish.  Both of his parents were
also Winner's Dog & Winner's Bitch at this Specialty and finished their
championships at this show weekend a few years ago.

Our Miss Karma was Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes and showed with
perfection.  We are so proud of this up and comer!

Two very special girls, Boca & Sonya also each earned a Rally Novice leg at
just 16 months old.  They did so wonderful!

Jaxon and I took a little trip to Oshkosh, WI May 22 & 23 and he came home
with Winner's Dog.    He is becoming a natural and I am so proud of what he
has done at a young age.  He now has both majors and is at 10 points.

April Showers might bring May flowers, but May brought us to Jefferson, WI
and the CWVC Specialty.    We were especially thrilled to be watching Bodie
who had a fantastic time with his brothers.  In Sweepstakes, Jaxon won his
12-15 Month Class, as did his sister Boca with their sister Ema right behind her
in 2nd.  Such a thrill to have these litter mate have continued success.  Dakota
and Bosco have their first Specialty weekend and shared the limelight in 1st on
different days.  Radar loved getting out and showing, but the thrill of my
weekend was watching Gunnar with Wes and them placing 3rd.

I am so pleased to announce that we have another titled dog in the family.
Huck got her done at the hunt test on May 2 and earned his Junior Hunter!   This
team of Huck and Mark is something to be proud of.  Two boys that I am glad
are part of the family.  Way to GO!

April

April is a Cruiser's kind of month.  Star is confirmed pregnant on her 6th
Birthday!  What a great gift.

Mid April brought better than mid reviews.  Chai goes WInner's Dog in Eau
Claire getting one step closer to his Championship.  On the same day down in
IA, Zeke shows how to earn his JH at only 8-months old.  Congrats to Pat &
Jacqueline on a job well done!  Jaxon follows in Chai's steps on Sunday in Eau
Claire earning Winner's Dog, we even got his full-time mom Donna in the ring!

The TCVC Hunt Test weekend was fabulous for us.  Huck showed his dad Mark
that he knows how to do it.  First time out for both of them and he earns 3 JH
legs.  Not to be outdone, Arlo, a Radar grandson also earned 3 JH legs with
owner Steve who came from WI.

Tad tales Karma & Zeke out for another JH leg each.  Way to go with these
young puppies!

March

Dubuque brought us to a family reunion of sorts the weekend of March 27 &
28.  On Sunday, Jaxon made Dubuque all his.  He was Winner's Dog for his
second major in a month.  His cousin Libby followed up with her second major
and also her Championship.  Congrats Wes & Jone for the wonderful work you
did with her.

It was a first for Bosco and Frank as both entered the ring for the first time this
weekend.  In case anyone hasn't heard yet, I LOVE this boy!  Frank looks like a
seasoned pro with him.  Teresa nd Boca just keep getting better, Darlin and
Katie made a nice showing, as did Radar's grandson's Joe & Arlo with Belinda.
Hunter's puppy Brew also took a Group 2 in the match held Saturday night, a
nice accomplishment for him.

Just a little farther west, Karma and Zeke where tearing up the field with
Papaw Tad.  Each now have 2 legs to their JH with hopes of finishing in the
coming weeks.

Overall, a great weekend for the Cruiser's Clan!  Keep up the great work.

Zeke follows up winning in the show ring with strong points in the field.
Entered in his first Hunt Test, dad Pat put his first JH leg on him in Idaho.  Way
to go BOYS!

Zeke tears it up in Garden City with another Winner's Dog/Best of Winner's
ribbons.  He is a sight to see!

February

As he turns 1, Jaxon shows that he only gets better with age.  We head back to
Des Moines and Jaxon brings home a 3-point major on Sunday, February 21.
Again, this could not have been accomplished without the skillful help of Eva
Phillippi.  He was also Reserve to the major on Saturday.

Also taking the trip was a wonderful Hunter son Kona, now Special K to me and
I can't wait to see him mature!  Thank You Kathleen Daniels for helping me with
this boy and seeing him open up in just a day.

January

January 23 & 24 is a great weekend and a great start to 2010.  In Wisconsin,
Darlin' goes Winner's Bitch at the Packerland Kennel Club show.

Just a further south in Des Moines, cousin Tigger earns back-to-back majors.
He becomes the first Champion of the year, finishing with 4 majors.  Congrats
to the Radar son, who showed like a million bucks.  A big thank you to Eva for
escorting him in Winner's Dog for the win and new title!

Welcome to 2010 and a Happy New Year!
