Congratulations to Shane and LeeAnn Johnson, CJ's family on the arrival of Graham. CJ's new human brother will soon come to love her as much as we do.
The weather has cooled down, but the competition hasn't. We headed to a show in Rochester and CJ turned the heat up. On Sunday, September 14 CJ earned her first points towards her show championship. Spending the summer at bird camp has done well for her.
Also over the wet weekend our Papillon friend Fly earned his AXJ title. This boy continues to burn it up.
Not to be out done, Timber is the first Cruiser's dog to earn an Advanced Rally title at the Rochester shows. Way to go everyone!
Puppies also had an exciting weekend taking the trip to Rochester with me. They played with several new friends and had a wonderful day.

St. Peter Success!! The Twin Cities Vizsla Club Specialty was May 23 and the City of St. Peter rumbled over all the excitement. The young dogs started off showing well in Sweepstakes. Then the Veterans showed that they can still strut their stuff. Radar earned a Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweeps and Trisha showed she can still move with the best of them.
In regular classes, we are please to announce that Leo not only won a very competitive Bred By Exhibitor class, but also was awarded Winner's Dog for a 5-point major. We couldn't be more proud of this young Missy/Bryce son.

Also making a great Mother's Day for Eva was weimaraner Hunter who completed his Junior Hunter title today. He went 4 for 4 on his passes.
After a very difficult April, May helped to bring some tears of happiness. We headed to Madison, WI for the Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club Specialty and the All-Breed shows. Now that he is a Veteran, Radar was able to compete in the Best Veteran Class and in the Group. He looked like her was being carried around the ring by Ruby. He was so happy to be back in the ring. At the Sweepstakes he finished behind Ralph and made a nice showing.
Hunter won the Hunting Dog class and made it to the final cut for Breed, as did Holly. She made a nice showing after a two-year break from the ring.
April 30, 2008
It is with a torn heart that I share the sadness of losing Ruby today. Ruby did not make it through her surgery to repair her leg from her accident.
Cruiser's Red Corundum "Ruby" 7/12/2007 ~ 4/30/2008
Ruby, your time with us was short, but you will always be thought about. You were the light at the end of the tunnel and the smile in your parents hearts. We will miss you!
April 29th Ruby was hit by a car and will require surgery to reset her broken leg/toes. Please keep Ruby, Adam & Jess in your thoughts as Ruby goes in for surgery and starts her long road to recovery.
Radar is a Grandpa again! Congratulations to Honey and Csonka on their new puppies. Contact Jill for information on this wonderful litter.
Ruby burns it up in Iowa again, this time in Waterloo. On Saturday she was Best Puppy and on Sunday she was Best Bred-By, followed by a Bred-By Sporting Group 4. Way to go baby girl!
We hopped into Dubuque, IA for Easter and Ruby lived up to her home-town advantage. Cruiser's Red Corundum "Ruby" took Winner's Bitch and Best of Winner's on Sunday, March 23rd at the Dubuque, IA KC show for her first points. It was a thrill to have her owner's Adam & Jessica Hoffman there along with their family and friends. Ruby is out of our own Missy and CH Szizlin Kes-Dil Bryce Canyon "Bryce". Thanks to Ruby for the big win, Bell for Reserve Winner's Bitch on Saturday and also to Eva Phillippi for helping take a few red heads in (including Bell for Reserve). Your expert handing is always more than appreciated.
March came in like a lion for Cruiser's own Sydney's Star Cruiser. She finished her bench Championship under Gloria Gehringer to become Trisha's 8th Champion. She is also the 4th of her litter to finish. Congratulations to owners Matt & Kelly Princivalli on their new Champion!
Ruby rocks Chicago for the 4-day IKC cluster. Although we didn't leave with any points, this was a very successful show cluster for her. She showed beautifully and made it her goal to meet and greet every dog and every person that made it to the show. Radar was lucky enough to stay with Adam and Jessica while Ruby was with me and I had to tear him away to get him back.
Star is ranked #18 in breed.
The Missy/Bryce puppies turned 6-months and Leo, Ruby, C.J. and Boomer all make their ring debuts. These puppies are something to be proud of. Ruby earned Reserve Winner's Bitch her first day in the ring and Boomer was considered for Reserve their second day in the ring.
